Media Award
Expert and critical reporting in the financial media has contributed considerably to the growth of the certificates market and to the high level of acceptance of certificates among private investors. Every year DDV awards a prize to honour journalists who have explained in a particularly reader-friendly way the advantages of these often complex products and how they work.
On the evening before the INVEST investors’ fair, the prizes for the best achievements in various categories are awarded. The highlight of the evening is the awarding of the prize for Journalist of the Year. The winners of the individual categories receive prize money of EUR 1,000, while the prize for the Journalist of the Year is EUR 5,000. Journalists, editors and writers from all German-language media in Germany are eligible for participation. They must work for public media and report on certificates as individuals or working in teams. Articles in customer magazines are not eligible for entry.
