Market volume

DDV regularly publishes statistics on the volume of the certificate market and on the market shares of the certificate issuers, therefore contributing greatly to the transparency of the sector and the market as a whole.

At present 16 issuers contribute to the statistics: Bayern LB, BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, DZ BANK, Goldman Sachs, Helaba, HSBC Trinkaus, HypoVereinsbank, LBB, LBBW, NORD/LB, Royal Bank of Scotland, Société Générale, UBS and WGZ BANK. These 16 issuers account for 95 percent of the total volume of outstanding certificates, and the figures for the market as a whole are estimated on the basis of the figures relating to this group. The data are subjected to strict quality control and close inspection by European Derivatives Group AG to ensure high quality.
