Deutscher Derivate Verband can now provide sample product information sheets for all 11 categories in the DDV product classification. These brief information sheets enable investors to grasp the relevant facts on a financial product very quickly.

Each of the 11 DDV product information sheets describes in only three pages the essential characteristics of the relevant certificate. This gives investors an important basis for their choice of a product to suit their market expectations and risk appetite. DDV’s product information sheets are already fulfilling the requirements of the draft German Investor Protection Act (Anlegerschutzgesetz), as well as upcoming EU guidelines.
